Paint Box Home

Although I can be often found in my downtown Concord, New Hampshire gallery, Cornerstone Design, I work best at The Paint Box, my studio nestled on a quite lake in Webster, New Hampshire. Surrounded by the natural world I love, my expansive studio gives me the space and quietude to create and explore new and diverse ideas in the craft of ink, paper, and photography.

I select quotes and live within the words to observe what evolves. I then use letters to create designs to create flight in a rainbow of colors. I like to transform the written dimension into lettering art and then accent the verse with watercolors, my own photographs, or natural found objects.

I have dedicated close to 25 years to the fine art of lettering and am a juried member of the New Hampshire Art Association and the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen. My pieces are made on cotton-based paper with carbon inks, gouache, and 24k gold. All framing is made with acid free techniques to insure the safety of my work.
